Again with Maryland Unemployment Questio, But I am at my wits end
Okay recently l had a fact finding interview because my employer told them
that l am employed full time. Then when l faxed the lady a copy of my pay
stub she then iin turn contacted HR at my job. l have not heard anything
from unemployment yet. However l contacted HR to find out if Unemploymwnt
contacted tehm and they told them that l only requested to work one day a
week. Which is a complete lie. So now l dont know wht to do. l called
Unemployment and they say the intial issue of me being employed full time has not been resolved and it takes 14 days for them to rach a decision. Will unemployment see this as it is and award me my benefits because first they say l am full time then they say that l only work one day a week. Or am l going to have to prove thta l have let them know that l was available. l have pay stubs from when l working more hours. All of the documenttaion is inmy favor provided they dont fudge documents. What should l do. Please help.
First and foremost YOU MUST contact unemployment again and find
out who your Unemployment investigator is. You CANNOT rely on your
employer sending them anything. Advise the investigator you were not
working one day a week, but working full time and you have the pay stubs
to prove it. Then say I would be happy to fax you this information. She
or he should give you there fax number and send ASAP.
